As Chief Marketing Officer for KUOW, Annette leads teams responsible for developing and executing donor engagement strategy, marketing strategy, brand identity, audience development strategy, and digital product development. Her teams deliver 92% of KUOW’s annual operating revenue through work with donors and business supporters.
With over 25 years of experience in business strategy, marketing, and analytics, Annette has a proven track record of delivering results and driving growth for various organizations in both the private and nonprofit sectors. She is passionate about creating environments that are rich with diversity and where people are empowered to bring their whole selves to work.
Annette has a Certificate in DEI from Cornell University, a Master of Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a BA in English from the University of Washington. She will complete her Nonprofit News Business Certificate from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY in February 2026. Annette is on the board of directors at Open Arms Perinatal Services.
