Clare's work focuses on the intersection of audio and the digital world. She oversees KUOW's Smart Speaker content and strategy, finding new ways to deliver quality journalism through this emerging platform. Through research and data analysis, she helps inform the station's broader approach to digital audio, including podcast strategy and presenting audio on KUOW.org. Clare also helps produce KUOW podcasts and does fill-in production and reporting work for the KUOW newsroom. She previously covered health and biotechnology at GeekWire, where she also produced the site's news podcasts. In her spare time, you may find her playing the teenage sorceress Elspeth Margaster in her current Dungeons & Dragons campaign.
