Multiple suspects arrested in fatal Pioneer Square shooting that killed 3

Seattle police have arrested multiple suspects in connection with a shooting in Pioneer Square on Saturday that left three people dead and a fourth person in critical condition.
The Seattle Police Department's SWAT team arrested three men Thursday evening at an apartment building in Mount Baker, where officers also recovered several firearms.
Two of those men were booked at the King County Jail on suspicion of murder and assault, while the third was booked at the multijurisdictional South Correctional Entity jail in Des Moines for a Corrections Department escape warrant, according to Seattle Police.
The King County Prosecutors Office said Friday that the two suspects in the shooting are 24 and 25 years old. During an initial court appearance Friday afternoon, a judge set bail at $5 million and prosecutors are expected to file formal charges next week.

Pioneer Square saw yet another shooting early Tuesday morning, for which a 26-year-old man was arrested. The 44-year-old victim, a man, survived a gunshot wound to the chest and remains in serious condition. Police say that shooting was preceded by an altercation between the two men.
On Sunday, the Seattle Police Department said it was investigating two separate stabbing incidents that occurred downtown that day.
Police arrested a 41-year-old man accused of stabbing one man and knocking another unconscious during an altercation in Pioneer Square's Occidental Park. Police say they found that stabbing victim, age 44, with a knife still lodged in his back before transporting him to Harborview, where he was last reported to be in serious condition. The man who was knocked unconscious was treated at the scene and taken to Harborview for observation.
A separate incident in Belltown left a 57-year-old man in serious condition after being stabbed in the chest on Sunday. Police say the man was attacked after refusing his assailant's demands that he give up food he was carrying. No arrests have been made in that case.
Correction, 5/23/25 at 1:16 pm: A previous version of this story misstated that the suspects had been arrested on Tuesday. This story has been corrected to reflect that they were arrested on Thursday.
