Man who called for 'extermination' of Hispanic people gets bail hearing

A bail hearing is scheduled Tuesday for a Maryland man charged with making terrorism-related threats against Latinos.

Eric Lin was arrested in Seattle for federal charges last month. The FBI was first alerted to Lin’s threats in July by the Miami Police Department.

Update 9/3/19: U.S. District Court Judge John L Weinberg ordered Lin to be held in detention until his next hearing.
