What happened at Boeing, and what's next?

The 737 MAX jet is Boeing’s best-selling plane – and it’s been grounded around the world after two deadly crashes in five months. The FAA is the regulator that certifies Boeing jets as safe, but its delegation of certification duties to Boeing itself has left the fox guarding the henhouse, says the Seattle Times’ Dominic Gates. Wall Street Journal reporter Andy Pasztor reports that at least one person who helped develop the jet has been subpoenaed.
