OK, we get it: You're a responsible citizen of earthquake territory.

You've stockpiled a gallon of water per person per day in case of the big one.

But then you notice there are expiration dates on those jugs you stashed in your basement.

And you open a jug you yourself filled a few years ago and ... yuck.
