Colorado secretary of state on white powder packages sent to election officials

Last week, several election officials across many states received packages containing a mysterious white powder. While the powder was eventually found to be harmless, it has raised concerns about the safety of officials responsible for carrying out the upcoming elections.

Colorado’s Secretary of State Jena Griswold was one official to receive a package. Griswold — who also chairs the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State — joins host Eric Westervelt to talk about that threat and others she and her colleagues have faced.
