Hear it again: An expedition to the top of the world is documented in 'Exposure'
At the top of the world sits what feels like a whole other realm.
It’s a place built solely of sea ice — of fissures and endless fields of white.
In her new documentary film "Exposure," director Holly Morris captures the beauty of that world — somewhere very few people get to see — as she follows a team of 11 women from Arab and European countries attempting to reach the North Pole.
Morris spent 20 years living in Seattle. In the 1990s, she was editorial director of the book publishing company Seal Press. She’s also produced and hosted multiple travel series from Seattle.
Soundside spoke to Holly Morris about Exposure back in February, when it screened at the SIFF Egyptian Theater.
Now, she's back for a screening this Friday and Saturday at the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts.
