A new database maps the myriad environmental hazards incarcerated people face across the U.S. Here & Now‘s Peter O’Dowd talks with Grist senior staff writer Lylla Younes about what the Toxic Prison Mapping Project reveals about environmental conditions for people in prisons, jails and immigrant detention centers.
