Last week was the 50th anniversary of Robert F. Kennedy's assassination. Bobby Kennedy was remembered as a civil rights advocate, but it's more interesting than that.

Robert Kennedy was not always a champion of the oppressed. But he was at least willing to listen.

Bill Radke speaks with Georgetown University sociology professor Michael Eric Dyson about his new book "What Truth Sounds Like: Robert F. Kennedy, James Baldwin, and Our Unfinished Conversation About Racein America."

Dyson describes a difficult, but critical meeting between Robert F. Kennedy and James Baldwin that forever changed how Kennedy thought about racial justice.
