How will AI play into the Olympics?

Artificial intelligence will be in play at the Olympics that open next week in Paris. AI companies have promised their technology could one day help to minimize bias in judging and recruit the next generation of athletes.

For now, China’s Alibaba Group Holding is using its AI to help Paris reduce electricity consumption as the host city tries to pull off the first carbon-neutral Olympic Games.
