Join Front Row Center at 'Her Story'
Join Marcie Sillman for the third Front Row Center of our 2017-2018 season at Pacific Northwest Ballet's "Her Story" on Saturday, November 4 at 2:00 p.m.
"Her Story" stages the American premiere of the piece "Plot Point," created by Crystal Pite. Set to music from Alfred Hitchcock’s "Psycho," it contrasts figures presented in familiar narratives with counterparts of fierce physicality.
The program also returns Twyla Tharp’s gritty "Afternoon Ball" and Jessica Lang’s gloriously hued "Her Door to the Sky."

Lisa Wang came to KUOW as a result of a serendipitous “driveway” moment in 2016. One morning, after hearing half of a KUOW story on Chinook Jargon while driving in her car, Lisa went searching for the rest and visited KUOW.org for the first time. While there, she clicked from story to story, then webpage to webpage until she eventually found herself looking at KUOW’s jobs page. One job application later and the rest was history. As KUOW's Product Manager, Digital Products, Lisa drives digital product strategy for KUOW.org, the KUOW stream, and the KUOW app. Lisa boomerang-ed back to KUOW after working as a jill-of-all-trades Operations Manager at Snopes.com, serving as the site's Product Owner throughout multiple major news events in 2020 and 2021. Previously, Lisa was KUOW's first Events Manager, connecting KUOW directly to audiences live and in-person. Lisa loves to collaborate and works closely with every team at KUOW to make our digital products shine. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys singing in choir with The Esoterics, listening to Hidden Brain, and playing a ridiculous number of board games.
