KUOW Puget Sound Public Radio has won five 2025 Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards, including Excellence in Writing, Best Documentary, and Best Podcast for our collaborative docuseries with the Seattle Times, Lost Patients.

The Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards honor outstanding achievement in local broadcast and digital journalism. All winners will automatically be entered into consideration for national Edward R. Murrow Awards.

"It is an honor that Lost Patients has been recognized in such stellar company. Will James, Sydney Brownstone, Esmy Jimenez executed a deeply reported, empathetic and surprising podcast series about a challenging topic. But it was also the Seattle Times' journalistic rigor and commitment to collaboration that made this project work so well," said Brendan Sweeney, KUOW director of new content and innovation.

KUOW is thankful to our dedicated journalists and community, who make this work possible. Below, learn more about KUOW's winning work.
