Lawsuit put on hold over Hanford worker safety
Kim Malcolm talks with KUOW's Richland correspondent Anna King about a settlement agreement between Washington state and the U.S. Department of Energy.
The agreement settles a 2015 lawsuit involving worker safety at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation. The suit was filed against contractor Washington River Protection Solutions by Washington state, Hanford Challenge, and Steam and United Association of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local No. 598.
