Palestinian detainees experience 'hell' in Israeli detention

Mounting reports have been published documenting the abuse of Palestinians detained inside Israeli prisons. Though Israel’s military routinely denies the systematic abuse of detainees, Palestinians allege leaving imprisonment with life-altering injuries, including hearing loss, broken bones and infected wounds.

This corroborates reports from the Washington Post and The Guardian, which interviewed Palestinians after their release. Dozens of these prison facilities have been transformed since Oct. 7, according to an investigation by Israeli human rights organization B’Tselem which described these locations as “torture camps.”
