Seattle Now: The Covid recession is a women's recession

Women are leaving the workforce in droves since the pandemic kicked in. 865,000 women exited work in September alone.

Just 216,000 men quit the workforce in the same month.

But with schools across Seattle closed because of Covid, women are picking up the extra slack at home.
