Did the city “[expletive] it up. Royally?” That’s what one City Council member said in a text that was obtained by the Seattle Times this week. City leaders were discussing the repeal of the head tax on big Seattle business. What did we learn from the glimpse behind the political scenes?

President Trump is challenging the woman accusing his Supreme Court nominee of sexual assault. What message will the Senate send to the public about sexual assault and victims who speak out?

This week the state Supreme Court heard arguments on putting so-called safe injection sites to a vote on the King County ballot. The County Board of Health approved creating injection sites. The Supreme Court will decide whether voters should be able to override a public health decision. Should voters decide?

The city has hired a mediator to help settle the debate over a bike lane on 35th Ave Northeast which goes from Lake City to University Village. A mediator for a bike lane?
