Halloween is a day when creepy creatures that we don't usually believe in seem just a little more likely to exist. In other words, it's a great day for cryptids.

Those are animals that some people claim to have seen, or interacted with, but we've never had conclusive proof of those creatures' existence.

There’s a whole group of cryptids in the U.S. alone: the Jersey Devil, El Chupacabra, Mothman, and of course, that Pacific Northwest Favorite – Sasquatch, also known as Bigfoot.

But, even though Sasquatch gets all the bumper stickers and pizza box designs, he's not the only legendary creature lurking around here.

Soundside producer Noel Gasca brings us the story of another, not-so-famous, Pacific Northwest cryptid: Batsquatch.
