What the latest job numbers tell us about the economy

Numbers out Friday show employers added fewer jobs than expected in August as the unemployment rate dipped slightly. The Federal Reserve will look at this jobs report, and other economic indicators, before deciding on a cut to interest rates later this month.

We talk with MSNBC’s chief economic correspondent Ali Velshi about what the numbers tell us about the health of the U.S. economy.
