King County allowed ICE to illegally tap into jail database, audit finds

A new report from the King County Auditor found that Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials have been tapping into an inmate database at the King County Jail.
In 2018, sharing information with immigration officials without a court order was outlawed in King County.
