WNBA player files lawsuit against former team alleging discrimination based on her pregnancy

WNBA star Dearica Hamby filed a lawsuit this week against the league and her former team, the Las Vegas Aces, alleging discrimination and retaliation based on her pregnancy. The suit claims the Aces withheld agreed-upon benefits and challenged the player’s commitment to the team after learning of her pregnancy. She was ultimately traded from the team.
