Your houseplant might know how you’re feeling

What exactly are plants? We interact them everyday, but we never stop to think about what they are capable of.

While we might think plants are not sentient, they are constantly communicating with each other through a fungal network we call the Wood Wide Web.

Some even think that plants communicate with us. Perhaps even more startling: some theorize that plants have actually domesticated us.

Join RadioActive's Meghana Kakubal, Kamil Saad, and Enya Garcia as they explore the world of plants.

This podcast was created in KUOW's RadioActive Intro to Journalism Workshop for 15-18 year olds at Jack Straw Cultural Center, with production support from Paul Kiefer. Edited by Jenny Asarnow.
