Ruby is a transplant from Taipei, Taiwan. She holds a B.A. in communication from Seattle Pacific University. She is proud to be one of the few old-schoolers who can edit tape with a razor blade.

    Radical bake off: SAM showcases edible pieces of art

    You don’t often see a baking competition in a museum. But that’s what happened recently at the Seattle Art Museum. Two dozen professional and home bakers brought their sweet creations--inspired by artworks from the museum’s exhibit called Victorian Radicals.

    Local Planned Parenthood: No federal money, no problem

    Local Democrats vow to continue supporting Planned Parenthood and programs that provide reproductive health care. The announcement comes in response to new federal rules prohibiting clinics that receive Title X money from discussing abortion access.
