Amtrak Cascades route to get $38M for new railcars

Washington State Department of Transportation is getting roughly $38 million to procure new railcars for the Amtrak Cascades route, which was a recommendation from National Transportation Safety Board following the fatal 2017 derailment in Dupont, Washington.
