Billionaire founder of Telegram faces legal trouble in France

French officials arrested Telegram founder Pavel Durov Saturday after he exited his private jet near Paris. They say Telegram has been a wide-open territory for scammers, drug dealers, money launderers and other criminal activity. The case raises questions about the line between the right to free speech and prohibitions against crime. And it raises questions about whether the owner of a platform can be held accountable for criminal activities on that platform.
