The week Seattle cleared two homeless encampments downtown. Three city council members have introduced a bill that would prevent future sweeps. Will it pass?

And Portland has just voted in favor of a tax on their wealthiest residents and big businesses to help address homelessness. Will we follow their lead?

Plus, Washington state has been named the primary target of a well-organized fraud ring that's filing false unemployment claims. Why us? And how can we prevent it?

Also, it's been one week since King County's mask directive went into effect. Are people following the rules? We'll have to get used to it when phase 2 of Governor Inslee's reopening plan begins, hopefully on June 1st. But when businesses do reopen, how likely are people to actually patronize them?

Finally, summer won't be starting off with a bang this year. Because Seafair, and it's accompanying Fourth of July fireworks displays, are canceled. So what will this summer look like?
