Hunter Biden's federal gun trial: Week 1 recap

Federal prosecutors have rested their case against Hunter Biden. They allege that President Biden’s son lied about his drug use on a federal application to purchase a gun in 2018, and that he then possessed a gun he illegally obtained.

The defense has tried to show that there’s no direct evidence Hunter Biden was using drugs when he applied for the gun.
