School kids will be at risk if a major earthquake hits Washington state

Kim Malcolm talks with geologist Corina Forson about a new state report on the seismic safety of school buildings in Washington state.

Forson is Chief Hazards Geologist with Washington's Department of Natural Resources.

A new report finds that a majority of Washington schools will be unsafe to occupy after a major earthquake. It also found that a quarter of school buildings won't even be repairable.
