Autumn arrives on Sunday evening, but the Seattle-area fall arts season is already in full swing.

Fremont’s annual Oktoberfest, billed as Seattle’s largest beer festival. Featuring more than 100 beers, plus a lineup of activities.

Saint Demetrios Greek Church in Seattle presents its annual festival, featuring traditional music, dance and food.

Smithsonian Museums has designated this as National Museum Day, and dozens of Northwest institutions will offer free admission with a ticket. Participating museums include Seattle Art Museum, Tacoma Art Museum, Bellevue Arts Museum, Museum of Glass, MOHAI, MOPOP, and the Museum of Flight among many others.
