Bill Radke reviews the week's news with Q13 correspondent Simone Del Rosario, The Stranger editor Chase Burns and Seattle Times investigations editor Jonathan Martin.

Jenny Durkan is still mayor of Seattle. This week, the state Supreme Court rejected the recall petition against her. However, a city sanctioned panel called the Seattle Human Rights Commission called on Durkan to resign. Three city council members have made that same demand. Are these calls for resignation just a sign of our 2020 angst and politics? Or is this more about the mayor's specific actions?

Plus, after 130 years, Bartell is no longer a family owned pharmacy. They have instead been bought by the national pharmacy Rite-Aid. The Pink Elephant Carwash, known for their iconic sign, also closed this week. Both blamed the city's high business taxes. Is Seattle doing enough to support local businesses?

Also, K-12 enrollment in Washington is down 3% from last year, and kindergarten enrollment is down 14%. What does that dip in enrollment mean for school funding?

Another organization that's seeing a dip in funding is Seattle's navigation team. Although that dip will be all the way to zero, since they are being cut from the city's budget. What does a post-navigation team Seattle look like? Will the city turn to a more county-wide approach to ending homelessness?

And Governor Inslee has loosened some covid restrictions, including ones on youth sports, wedding receptions, movie theaters and restaurants. How big of an impact will that have on local businesses?

Finally, coronavirus isn't the only reason Governor Inslee is in the news. He faced off against gubernatorial candidate Loren Culp in their only debate on Wednesday. How did the two candidates do?
