Remembering Bernice Johnson Reagon

We remember Bernice Johnson Reagon, who died at the age of 81.

She co-founded the Freedom Singers during the Civil Rights Movement and went on to found the acclaimed acapella group Sweet Honey in the Rock. Reagon also created NPR’s “Wade in the Water” documentary series in 1994.
