Special counsel to appeal documents case dismissal

Special Counsel Jack Smith says he’ll appeal Monday’s ruling dismissing the case involving former President Donald Trump’s handling of classified documents after leaving the White House. Judge Aileen Cannon ruled Smith’s appointment was improper and unlawful.
