Tenure changes in Florida reportedly lead to faculty losing jobs

Politico reports that around 10 university faculty members in Florida have lost their jobs as part of a new law signed by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, requiring universities to review professors who have tenure every five years. It’s part of a push by Republicans in the state against what they say is a liberal bias in higher education.
