Where does Trump stand with unions after calling to fire striking workers?

Former President Donald Trump is facing backlash from some of the biggest unions after making a comment about firing striking workers. Trump made the comment in a live conversation with Elon Musk this week on Musk’s social media platform X.

The United Auto Workers immediately filed charges against Trump with the National Labor Relations Board of unfair labor practices. And the head of the Teamsters called the comment “economic terrorism.” The Trump campaign called the UAW’s allegations a “shameless political stunt.”
