The United States and Europe are hiking tariffs on Chinese-made electric cars. In the U.S., the tariff is going to 100%, and in Europe, it’s up to 50%.
Will that protect American jobs and auto manufacturers from an influx of lower-priced Chinese cars? And will consumers benefit or lose out on driving a more affordable electric vehicle?
