The Seattle area is a cultural mecca, with more offerings than we know what to do with. KUOW's Arts and Culture reporter Marcie Sillman offers these suggestions.

Friday, March 29

Friday through Sunday: Seattle Mariners play the Boston Red Sox at T-Mobile Park.

Through April 14, 5th Avenue Theatre presents "Marie: Dancing Still" -- a new musical based on a classic sculpture by Edgar Degas.

Saturday, March 30

Tacoma Art Museum spotlights local designers in a special evening called "Fashion is ART," 6:30-10:30 p.m.

At 3:09 p.m, watch the Gonzaga Bulldogs take on number three seed Texas Tech as March Madness continues.

Sunday, March 31

Through April 3: REPRESENT Multicultural Playwrights Festival at Seattle's Langston Hughes Performing Art Institute.

And: Check out the cherry blossoms at the University of Washington Seattle campus. The trees are in full bloom this weekend.
