Seattle will close schools… eventually

Seattle Public Schools has thousands fewer students enrolled than 5 years ago. That means less money for the district, contributing to a funding crunch. Now SPS is taking up a contentious solution: Closing and consolidating schools.

KUOW Education Reporter Sami West explains how that might work, and what we can learn from the last round of school closures in the city.
